Apple CarPlay is a wireless feature that lets you integrate an iPhone with your Volvo. Apple CarPlay gives you access to iPhone apps, such as navigation and music, and lets you make calls and receive messages.
Activating Apple CarPlay
If your iPhone is connected to the car, you need to first remove it from the Bluetooth settings. In the centre display go to 
> Connectivity > Bluetooth and remove your iPhone as a connected device.

Accept the request to add a new Bluetooth device.
You will be directed to the car's Bluetooth settings.
Select Add new device and open the Bluetooth settings in your iPhone.
Follow the remaining steps in the centre display and in your phone.
Once your iPhone is connected, Apple CarPlay will be available on the home screen.
Disconnecting Apple CarPlay
When you start your car, Apple CarPlay will be active by default unless you disconnect it in the car's Bluetooth settings. To disconnect Apple Carplay, select your connected iPhone > Disconnect.
