Your distance-capable EX30 key tag has NFC1 functionality. So, if your distance-capable key has a low or discharged battery, it can be used in the same way as a key card.
Note
- The exterior key reader is located in the pillar between the front and rear doors on the driver's side.
- The interior key reader is located in the card reader between the front seats.
To unlock the car, hold the key tag over the exterior key reader with the Volvo logo facing you.
Place the tag on the interior key reader with the Volvo logo facing upwards to use the car.
Lock the car by holding the key tag over the exterior key reader with the Volvo logo facing you.
