Terms and Conditions for the Volvo Warranty Extension Contract - New Vehicles

Effective from:

Published at:

The Warranty Extension period starts on the day following the date on which the Manufacturer's Warranty expires, or in cases where the Manufacturer's Warranty has already expired, on the day the vehicle is delivered.

This Warranty Extension covers the component failures that cause them to stop working for reasons other than wear and tear, normal deterioration or negligence; they will be replaced or repaired by an Authorized Repairer at no cost to the vehicle owner, in accordance with the terms and conditions described herein.

Maintenance intervals must be followed in accordance with Volvo's recommendations, as described in the Service and Warranty Manual, in order for the Warranty Extension to remain valid. Please note that the vehicle must be serviced within the limit of 1 month (or 1500 km) before or after the date (or mileage) recommended in the Volvo service plan.

To ensure your service runs smoothly, make sure your Volvo Authorized Repair Shop has access to the vehicle's Maintenance Book, and repair invoices or other relevant documents.
